From a Meal to a New Beginning

A meal may meet an immediate need, but stability is what changes a life.

Every week, The Storehouse Project walks alongside individuals and families as they move from uncertainty to consistency through food, community, and support.

All year round, we provide consistent support through three appointment-based pantry distributions each week, a mobile pantry delivering groceries from Bridgeport to New Haven, a community dining program serving hundreds of hot meals every Monday evening, and a free clothing boutique offering essential items with dignity.

Seasonally, we extend that support even further. For the past 19 years, we have provided Thanksgiving baskets with turkeys and full holiday meals for families in need. This year, we will also distribute over 500 Christmas blessing bags and hot meals to residents in shelters and rehabilitation facilities.

Within the next six months, we will move into a new facility, expanding our ability to serve more individuals and families with greater care, dignity, and consistency.
