Renovations are already underway to move the worship facility of Cornerstone Christian Center a distance of just under 6 miles, from Milford, CT. to Derby, CT. When the church makes its move, The Storehouse Project will make its own move from 192 Meadow Street in Milford to the building vacated by the church at 349 Wheelers Farms Road, Milford.

Between October 1 and October 14th, we are endeavoring to raise $25,000 toward the operating expenses of our expanded efforts.

On the morning of Saturday, October 21 we will celebrate our Walk to the Future in two ways:

1. In a symbolic gesture, many of us will walk the the 2 miles from our current facility on Meadow Street to our future location at 349 Wheelers Farms Road.

2. At the new site, we’ll offer a walking tour of the facility and show our special guests where our expanded array of services will be located within the building.

The much larger facility for The Storehouse Project in Milford creates a tremendous opportunity for us to expand our services and double down in the Greater Milford Community. The long-term goal will be for us to expand our reach from Bridgeport to the South, Derby to the North, and up to New Haven to the east with an array of services to offer the entire region.

There are several ways to get involved:

1. Make a donation of any size on this page. It’s easy and it’s safe. Or, if you prefer to send a check. . .

Please include your email address and phone number along with the check. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Donations of at least $50 will entitle you to a commemorative baseball cap and an invitation to what we are calling The Last Lap at the our Derby Cornerstone Campus on Saturday, September 30th.. We'll come together at 9AM and walk a mile together (optional) before celebrating our success at 10AM.

2. As an individual fundraiser

There are people in your circle of friends and family who will gladly support The Storehouse Project. When you become a fundraiser, you will have your own web page to send to people within your circle. They in turn, can make their donations directly to your personal page. By signing up as a fundraiser will you have your own web page, and an invitation to the culminating event we’re calling in The Last Lap Celebration. The Last Lap will be held at the our Derby Cornerstone Campus on Saturday, September 30th. We'll come together at 9AM and walk a mile on campus together (optional) before celebrating our success at 10AM. Anyone raising at least $100 as an individual fundraiser will receive a commemorative Baseball cap at The Last Lap.

The individual who raises the most revenue for The Storehouse Project through their web page with a minimum of 4 donors, will win a $50 gift certificate to Bin 100 Restaurant (or any other restaurant of your choice that sells electronic gift cards online). The prize will be awarded at The Last Lap Event.

Everyone making a personal donation of $50 or more will be invited to become a campaign fundraiser in a follow-up correspondence. There will be no pressure to do so but we hope you'll consider it!

3. As a Fundraising Team of 3

A three stranded cord is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12). We are stronger when we work together! You and two friends, family members or co-workers can register as a fundraising team. Name your team and your teammates, and go for it! Every team that raises at least $300 will receive three commemorative baseball caps at The Last Lap event on September 30th,

The team of three generating the highest dollar amount of donations with no less than 6 donors to their page will win three $50 gift certificates to the Bin 100 Restaurant (or any other restaurants of your choice that sell electronic gift cards online). Registration as a team includes your own web page and an invitation to the culminating event we’re calling The Last Lap Celebration. The Last Lap will take place at the our Derby Cornerstone Campus on Saturday, September 30th. We'll come together at 9AM and walk a mile on campus together (optional) before celebrating our success at 10AM.
