Will You Be One of My 10?

Hi! I’m participating in The Storehouse Project’s Walk to the Future, and I’ve set a goal to raise $1,000.

I’m looking for 10 people who will each help me raise $100.

You can give $100 once or $10 a month for 10 months. And if another amount works better for you, that’s great too. Every gift matters!

Why I’m Walking

I have seen the impact for good by the Storehouse Project personally, from our Peret food pantry to the Mobile truck that goes out to PT Barnum Housing Project the place I grew up.

From feeding, clothing Loving those in need. I hear testimonies of what a blessing this organization is to so many in various communities Milford, Bridgeport, New Haven.

On Monday's I sit with guest at our Community Dining Center at 349 Wheelers Farms Rd, where not only a great meal is served but relationships are built and friendships are started. We laugh and talk and most importantly people who were forgotten or ignored are shown unconditional love.

Mothers bring their children to a safe place where awesome meals are prepared and a smile or hug is welcomed.

Our homeless community and vets are encouraged and reminded that somebody does care.

The book says what you did to the least of these my brothers and sisters you did unto him.

Our goal is to not just give a handout but a hand UP.

From 10 × 10 to the Future

The Storehouse Project began in a 10-by-10-foot room and has grown to serve thousands of our neighbors through food, clothing, community meals, and other practical help.

Now, we’re preparing for the next chapter at 349 Wheelers Farms Road, That 10-by-10 beginning inspired our challenge: 10 people × $100 = $1,000
